Gas is a Mythical Elemental-type fruit that can be purchased for $3,200,000 or 2,500 Robux from the Blox Fruit Dealer.
This fruit allows the user to create, control, and turn it into concentrated, flammable Gas. With this power, they can release heavy attacks that deal serious damage to enemies. A purple ring of fumes surrounds the character as a cosmetic effect.
The user can also compress the Gas they produce, transforming it into a massive Gas Knight. In this transformed state, their attacks become stronger and change in style, and they gain the ability to stand on water.
As a physical item, Gas holds good trade value and is in high demand. It is known for its very large area damage, serious damage output, and strong combo potential. The normal form has limited area coverage, but the transformed version stands out as one of the best tank options in the game.
Its wide attack range, repeatable abilities, and serious overall damage make it very effective against teams. Because of this, it performs well in grinding and raid situations.
Gas can be used for leveling in all seas because of its elemental immunity and M1 attacks. However, it is not recommended in the First or Second Sea. The mastery requirements are high, and the knockback effect makes farming slower and more annoying.
The flight ability is also slow. In player fights, the normal form is hard to use against skilled opponents, as many moves can be dodged with instinctive tricks. The transformed form is very large, making it difficult to fight in tight areas like Tiki Outpost.
Gas is especially strong during sea events. The ability to stand on water, short cooldowns, and serious damage make it very useful. Both M1 attacks can hit sea beasts, further increasing their effectiveness. Since users can stand on water, equipping the Leviathan Crown improves drop rates and further boosts damage.
Combining this with the Ghoul Race V3 Ability greatly reduces cooldowns, allowing frequent ability use and higher damage output. However, this setup carries risk, as missed attacks can quickly drain the Gas Meter.
How to Get Gas Fruit in Blox Fruit?
Gas can be purchased from the Blox Fruit Dealer for $3,200,000 or 2,500 Robux when it is in stock. Since dealer stock changes every few hours, you may need to wait and check regularly until it appears.
It can also be found randomly under trees as a natural spawn, though this depends on luck and timing. Another way to get it is through trading with other players if someone is willing to exchange it. Because it is a Mythical Elemental-type fruit and has strong demand, getting it usually requires either a large amount of in-game money, Robux, or high-value trade items.

Gas Movesets – Normal And Transformed
Gas has 3 passive abilities, 6 movesets in its normal form, and 6 movesets in its transformed form. Let’s review them.
Gas Meter
The user slowly gains gas over time. Gas is also gained by dealing damage to NPCs or other players. When the Gas Meter becomes full, the user can transform.
In the normal form, the Gas Meter does not decrease. However, in the transformed form, the gas is slowly consumed. The drain becomes faster when the user takes damage or uses any move, including M1 attacks. Gas is also consumed while walking on water. This system works very similarly to the Fury Meter.

Elemental Reflex
The user cannot be harmed by lava puddles on the Hot and Cold islands, Magma Village, or during Flame and Magma raids. The user can turn into purple gas and smog, making them immune to physical attacks such as fighting styles, swords, and guns. Players can only damage them if their attacks are boosted with Aura. This passive ability also works while transformed into the Gas Knight.
Against NPCs, the immunity only works if the user is at a higher level than the NPC. This effect does not apply to bosses and only works on normal enemies.

Condensed Vapor
When transformed into the large Gas Knight, the user gains 50% damage reduction. They also receive a 33% speed boost, along with double jump height, double dash distance, and double movement speed. In this form, the user can stand and walk on water, as the awakened Buddha does.

Gaseous Sword [ TAP ]
The user creates a gas sword and swings it left and right, sending out pink, circular slashes. The third and fourth hits become rapid gaseous strikes that deal damage and pull enemies inward. The sequence ends with a blue fiery blast that knocks the target back and leaves a black soot mark on the ground.

Pros
Cons
[Z] Suffocating Fumes (1 Mastery)
The user moves forward quickly and releases a cylinder-shaped purple cloud that deals small damage. If the first fumes hit an enemy, the user grabs them and cuts them with a gas sword, as with the normal attack. The final hit goes through the enemy and deals serious damage.

Pros
Cons
[X] Bursting Vapor (100 Mastery)
The user creates rings of violet gas around themselves, forming a spinning cage of vapor. Any enemy inside the range gets thrown around and slowly suffocated. After that, the gas rings explode, blasting the target away.

Pros
Cons
[C] Smog Demons (200 Mastery)
The user summons several smog demons with large mouths and red tongues, then sends them toward the target. These demons deal poison damage over time. If the move is tapped, only a few demons appear and attack quickly. If the move is held down, more demons are summoned. The demons can also auto-aim to a certain extent.

Pros
Cons
[V] Vapor Condensation (300 Mastery)
The user gathers violet gas around themselves, forming a spinning vortex as they transform into a Gas Knight and hold a vapor sword. Nearby enemies are pulled in, similar to the X move.
While transformed, a ring of smog surrounds the user as gas continues to be released, slowly draining the Gas Meter. The user also leaves behind a bluish smog when dashing or sky-jumping.

Pros
Cons
[F] Traveling Gas (50 Mastery)
The user turns their legs into gas and launches into the air. At the start of the flight, there is a short moment where a special version can be activated by pointing the cursor at an enemy. In this version, the user rushes quickly toward the target, deals impact damage, then returns to normal flight.
The move can be held down like a regular flight. This special dash can only be used at the beginning of the flight. The damaging version will also activate if players are nearby, even if the user cannot attack them.

Pros
Cons
Gaseous Sword [ TAP ]
The user performs a series of sword slashes that move from left to right. At the end of the combo, a large amount of Gas gathers and explodes, sending the enemy flying far away.
Each slash uses some of the Gas Meter, so it is better to aim carefully before attacking to save and recover Gas.
This move can keep enemies stunned if the user pushes them against a tall wall and moves backwards while repeatedly attacking. It also works against Terrorsharks, making it very effective.

Pros
Cons
[Z] Suffocating Fumes (1 Mastery)
The user spreads suffocating, flammable fumes across a large area. Enemies standing inside take damage over time and cannot dash, jump, or use abilities because they are being suffocated. The move also heals the user slightly and distorts the victim’s screen.
If the cursor is placed on land that is very far away, the fumes can still reach that spot, showing that this move has a long range.
This ability can also be used in the air. It works well against slow Dragons that stay still while aiming a move, as the fumes can cancel their attack and give the user a chance to follow up with the X or C move.

Pros
Cons
[X] Bursting Vapor (100 Mastery)
The user releases a large gas beam that ignites and is quickly swept to the left. It causes a big explosion, shakes the screen of nearby players, and leaves a scorch mark on the ground. If this X beam passes through the fumes from the Z move, it explodes more violently, dealing extra area damage.
When used in the air, this move cannot hit enemies that are directly above or below the user. Enemies standing very close may also avoid the explosion. In tight spaces, the beam can bounce off walls and overlap with the area it just exploded in.

Pros
Cons
[C] Smog Demons (200 Mastery)
The user lifts their sword and summons several smog demons that rush toward the cursor. If the move is held down, more demons appear, increasing the damage. When the attack hits, the target also takes damage over time. This move works almost the same as the untransformed version.

Pros
Cons
[F] Vapor Condensation (300 Mastery)
The user gathers purple Gas around themselves and returns to their normal form. After changing back, they can use Fighting Styles, Swords, and Guns again.
When this happens, they lose the ability to stand on water, so using this move in the ocean can be risky.

[F] Traveling Gas (50 Mastery)
The user dashes forward, pulling nearby enemies toward their sword. They then stab the target hard, knocking them back a long distance and tinting the screen dark blue.

- The [X] Bursting Vapor move stays locked to the player’s position and follows them during its duration.
- The [F] Traveling Gas move becomes faster as the user’s health gets lower, similar to Venom’s [F] Serpent’s Wrath. It can also cancel Light’s [F] Light Flight.
- There is a bug where looking up and using [F] Traveling Gas in normal form while in water can teleport the user high into the map, allowing unfair escapes.
- Gas is the only Elemental fruit with a Power Meter. The Gas Meter fills at a speed similar to Kitsune’s Tail Meter, equal to about three normal Fury Meters.
- It takes 5 minutes and 30 seconds to fill the Gas Meter without dealing damage. Using the Kitsune Mask reduces this time to 3 minutes and 12 seconds.

- Gas shares the same Elemental Immunity sound effect as Smoke.
- When using the untransformed [C] Smog Demons on a Sea Beast, the demons aim below it, showing that the main hitbox is under its chin, which explains why it cannot be hit while diving.
- The transformed form sometimes has air-jump bugs that prevent the user from jumping. Using very small avatar bundles can cause air dashes to travel farther and ground dashes to become sharper.
- Another bug with small avatar bundles allows the user to move freely on the ground while using [Z] Suffocating Fumes, [X] Bursting Vapor, and [F] Travelling Gas.

Final Thoughts
Gas is a powerful and flexible fruit with serious damage, good combo potential, and a unique transformation that greatly boosts its abilities. It performs very well in grinding, raids, and sea events, especially in its transformed form, where it gains defense and mobility benefits.
At the same time, it requires a high level of mastery and careful management of the Gas Meter. In skilled PvP fights, some moves can be dodged, and the large transformed size can be a drawback. Overall, Gas is a strong choice for players who prefer heavy damage and transformation-based combat.
